Maybe because of this, he can often be seen panting and groaning with stomach pain, never learning from his mistakes. He has a passion for farming, and while his plot is small, he finds a great deal of use in it as an experimental farm to grow a variety of strange creations. He is affiliated with the Warmongers, the guild controlling Western Tokyo, where he works as a medic as well as a member of their frontline chemical and biological warfare unit. He's a part of the guild of war makers that rule Western Tokyo, the Warmongers. Shennong maintains the front line chemistry creature fighting force and serves as a military doctor. His personality is one who can't leave alone "people who hurt themselves without meaning to", and if that is mental pain that his power cannot reach, he worries about those people even more. But when it comes to people who hurt themselves willingly, he seems to dislike them as people similar to himself.

His second Sacred Artifact is his Aurora, which streams through the heavens like a battle standard. One fateful summer, many students find their way to his infirmary with some sort of severe illness that's going around. No surprise, they all become extremely nervous in his presence, exacerbating their symptoms. They complain of heart palpitations, trouble breathing, numbness of the chest, and so on, and Shennong treats each with due care and consideration for his own toxicity.
