☆3/☆4 Hakumen

Hakumen is a variant of offensive support, usually requiring to be in the front lines to be effective, but pays off very well thanks to Bind nullifying skill cast and reducing enemy damage, which paired with Tenacity can make her a solid support. Her Charge is a great CP battery thanks to its range, paired with her LB1, she can prove effective with pushing CP around. LB3 has a very low proc rate but it can be helped through Insight and/or Concentration and helps greatly to either momentarily shut down enemies or help your party set up against them comfortably. Mind her positioning, she belongs only in the frontlines and needs Tenacity up to be sturdier in general. Feel free to feed her offensive buffs, she’ll welcome these since her damage isn’t good despite her utility.

☆4 Valentine Hakumen

Hakumen (Valentine) looks and works similar to the original, but has a few differences that define her playstyle very differently. First, she’s Ranged and Light, which allows her to be in the backlines much more comfortably and attains more consistent damage. She retains a similar Default, LB2 and LB3, with Default being fantastic, for Bind nullifies skill cast and is a great damage-reduction ailment as well and her benefitting from it thanks to her special damage increase. LB2 is the fairly rare CP in a humongous range, which may prove to be just enough to get her allies’ CP going and LB3 plays the same altogether, a stun on-attack that can easily shut down and/or setup for your allies very well despite its low proc rate. Still, be wary of the fact she loses her Tenacity for a far more situational skill, making her rely on Bind to be any durable and that her Charge has less general uses and must be used against whatever is currently under buffs if you want to approach it.

Highlights

☆3/☆4 Hakumen

Class: Offensive Support

Gameplay role:

Pros

+ Default Bind and increased damage to enemies with it speaks by itself as an amazing anti-skillcast and damage reduction ailment, which paired with LB2 Tenacity makes her rather tanky.

+ LB1 allows her to push some CP around at humongous effect range.

+ LB3 is fantastic to set up enemies through stunning just by attacking.

+ Charge is great to compliment both LB1 and can get her allies Charge skills going earlier with a full hit, especially thanks to its range.

Cons

- LB1 doesn’t apply to herself and is not sufficient to consider her any form of CP battery outside of Charge.

- LB2 needs her to move around, she will need it since Bind only complements her durability, this is her main source of it.

- LB3 has a pretty low proc rate to work with, requiring Insight and/or Concentration in order to be good.

☆4 Valentine Hakumen

Class: Offensive Support

Gameplay role:

Pros

+ Default Bind and increased damage to enemies with it speaks by itself as an amazing anti-skillcast and damage reduction ailment, with her abusing it damage-wise.

+ LB2 allows her to push some CP around at humongous effect range.

+ LB3 is fantastic to set up enemies through stunning just by attacking, while slapping CP off of them.

+ Charge is great for getting rid off of enemy buffs, especially ones that aren’t easy to deal with (Guts, Evasion, and so on).

Cons

- Relies on Bind for both her damage and durability to be any noticeable, without it, she’s underwhelming.

- LB1 is rather situational, with the bonus being fairly overkill due to Berserk already making units easy to defeat in exchange of damage.

- LB2 doesn’t apply to herself and is not sufficient to consider her any form of CP battery.

- LB3 has a pretty low proc rate to work, with, requiring Insight and/or Concentration in order to be good.
