Among those books is one that has the golem creation method written within it. Vapula's power can read those books, execute their contents, then make objects move. A golem's body is treated as an enclosed area, and it can move without limit. It is the same as the robots and automatons made by other Transients based on their own memories. However, if the vessel's integrity is attacked it is the easiest thing to destroy. Things made into golems sometimes run wild, but they do have the ability to be set that way in emergency situations if needed. When faced with trouble, sometimes a number of rampaging golems run away. Golems behave as though they possess wills at first glance, but they only act in accordance to the orders they are given.
