{{Companion CV
|summon=I am Inumura Daikaku Masanori, one of the Hakkenshi. Now is the time to begin a revolution, to show the whereabouts of courtesy that go unchanged no matter what.
|battle=Show me your change of self. Let us begin the revolution.
|move=Be wary of time for disasters.
|attack=Here.
|skill=Sudden change.
|hit-minor=Guh...
|hit-major=Nyaaan!?
|charge=A sudden change of you and I, Kemono no Yaiba! I am not a Cat...! NYAAAAN!!
|victory=No matter what changes in this world, I have not found enough courtesy to protect it.
|ko=I wanted to find something that would never change. That is why... Where did I go wrong!!
|love=The beast within you, no...you, the monster, are lovely in my eyes. Ahh, meeting you is a revolution to me.
|title=Tokyo Afterschool Summoners. I, revolutionary strategist Inumura Daikaku Masanori, will accompany you. Allow me to tell you one thing. I... am NOT a cat!
|shop=
|open-2=Welcome to my revolutionary and literary hermitage. I will keep a good record of your success. Please make your report.
|close-2=You have changed quite a lot throughout this festival. Ah, I have witnessed something wonderful. I will surely show you my appreciation for this someday.
|greeting=
|encouraging=The shadow creeping in the gap where the thin skinned heart has peeled off. When you noticed it, one's own heart has been trespassed. Please be wary of that. I speak from experience.
|touched=Um, can you check to make sure I am a dog? It's fine...! Check with your hands, please! M-Mmm... Nya-Nyaaaan...
|conversation-1=The wise readily adapt themselves to changed circumstances, if you come into contact with someone who is polite and honest and the values of the world are greatly revolutionized. Ah... not good. Truly not good.
|conversation-2=Literature is life. And literature must have a revolutionary character between the beginning and end. You must have the will to change oneself.
|conversation-3=How do you fare, Summoner-dono? Greetings are important. Courtesy is the last skin that makes a person human. Once you lose it, a completely different beast will appear.
|conversation-4=I was raised by a monster cat who killed my parents. I lived with dignity because I believed I was loved no matter what I did. Even if I learn the truth later... I am living under the shadow of the same person.
|self=
|character-1=I desired to be a literary man, but it seems I lack literary talent. Ahh, I wanted a piece of poetic sentiment...
|character-2=The boundary of the heart is more fragile than you would expect. It's something another person can easily break. And there are those who excel at it in this world.
|character-3=
|character-4=
|event=What does this festival mean to you? How will you live and how will you change in it? I will record it in literature.

The status of the Hakkenshi in the Rule Makers are still unknown.
** He grew up being abused by a monster cat that had killed his father and took his place.
* Masanori's sword, closer to a dagger, is called the "Matatabimaru" (木天蓼丸). It was thought to be cursed due to having been buried and dug up during the construction of a castle. It is named so due to its scabbard and handle being made of silvervine or matatabi; a cat attractant that functions similar, if not stronger, than catnip. The sword belonged to Masanori's adoptive father.

* The subtitle of Masanori's CS is based on an expression that refers to changing your attitudes and beliefs at the drop of a hat and holding no convictions, a contrast to his possession abilities and his desire for steadfast beliefs.
* In one of Masanori's lines, he insists that he is not a cat and uses the first person pronoun 'wagahai.' This appears to be a reference to a Japanese book by Natsume Souseki titled "I Am a Cat."
