Michael once had an older brother who was attached to that position, who he respected from the bottom of his heart and endeavored to be more like every day. But one day, his brother abruptly declared his rebellion against the master of the heavens and challenged him to battle. The angels of heaven were split into two factions, and the war ended with the brother's defeat. And the one to pass judgment on this brother was none other than Michael himself. Michael has formed an alliance with the World Representative of Takamagahara who also exiled their sibling. He sympathizes with people who younger brothers who work and try to take the place of their older brothers who are no longer around. Additionally, as a super short term battle model his capabilities for sustained battle is lacking. When it comes to his brother, Michael derides him as a coward who ran away from his role. But if a third party were to interfere with them, Michael would never pass up a chance to duel them. He was called the strongest hero angel in his home world, and in battle he is arranged to be the strongest solo fighter. Michael has a bit of dislike for an elite angel who happens to look a lot like his brother for being too similar to him.
